K.Oka sings Tagalog Karaoke (MP3)

[The last renewal of this page: August 15, 2009]

"K.Oka Karaoke Series" was started from Japanese Karaoke, and then Korean Karaoke was also released, and now, reached to Tagalog Karaoke. The song that I was very much impressed first was "IISA PALAMANG" which I'll let you take a listen first. With only one song being sung by a woman singer, I decided to challenge to Tagalog songs. Oh yes, the BGM of this forum is this "IISA PALAMANG". Lovely melody isn't it?

The lyrics of each song have a translation (for only Japanese) as well, but please do not rely on it, because they all are compilations of researches I did from Filipinas in the Philippines Club in halting Tagalog, halting English, and halting Japanese. (hi hi) I have just started learning Tagalog (as of March, 2004), and I am just a beginner yet. So I have no way to confirm them for sure. Please use it just for your reference.

Karaoke itself is the same level as of Japanese or Korean, and if you feel uncomfortable to listen to, let me aplogize to you.

Recommendation of Tagalog Karaoke

It may be a little bit difficult to get Karaoke materials in Tagalog, but you can find it in overseas internet shop, and can get them with your credit card easily. There are CD, Video CD, and DVD as well. We should know the original song, but it is also hard to find it. So it is better to buy DVD with a track of original song.

This is my Tagalog Karaoke DVDs. One DVD has 25 or 26 songs, and this set of series has 10 DVDs. (One DVD costed US$20.00)

This is where I bought my DVD.

The pronunciation of Tagalog is easy for Japanese to pronounce, and their charcters are the same as English, and you can read and pronounce just as the characters say. Those feaures are very helpful for Japanese to practice Karaoke.
Many songs in Tagalog let us feel the placidness of southern tropical world. The world of boundless cheerfulness and happiness of Filipinos is spreding out there. Passionate beauty between men and women is really impressive.
