How I met with a Camper
[The last renewal of this page: May 10, 1997]
When I had my 1st trip to Alaska at my age of 23 years old, I met
campers, trailor-house, and mobilehomes at the first time in my life.
I was really impressed the fact that even in the middle of freezing
tempreture with snow in the most norther countries, they were providing
super confortable living space with heating, cooking, and sleeping
equipments.
I was really surprized at finding out the super-wide vehicle ahead coming
approch to me, being forced out to my lane a part of its body, putting a
big sign-board in front of itself saying "WIDE". I was once again
surprized to find it out a big mobilehome was moving around the country
being pulled by a truck in that way.
I also got surprized at finding out that there were wheels underneath a
good-sized house, and I finally understood the house was a mobilehome.
"A confortable living space with which we can move around in the big
nature" is the camping car, and that is a feature that I started to look
for in my car.
