1. Reconstructuring of Observation System after 5years blank

During five years from 2003 to 2007, I had to quit all the astronomical activities due to my job. ( The roof of observatory was kept closed)
At the end of 2007, I had to took it apart to prevent further damages from winds and rains. (Mobile observatory had to be scrapped at the end of 2003 as the automatic mission was unabled to be fixed anymore.)
Starting the year 2008, I decided to rebuild the observation system with a strong will that I want to restart the astronomical activities. My choice was to reconstruct everything from what I can achieve now.
Yahoo auction was helpful to sell and buy necesarry equipments without any additional money to be invested.

2. Outline of the new system

* I return? the part of property to my wife for flower bed, so I decided not to rebuild observatory house itself for the time being. Instead, a fixed home observation system should be created.

* Now my automobile is not a wagon type, that there no way to build a mobile obsavation system. So, a gneneral
expedition style observation system should be created.

== Points of reconstruction of the system ==

(1) 5 year blank should be caught up with following three points.

* In the galaxy imaging system, which is my major purpose, off axis guider and remote guiding head CCD are innovated, so that I can resolve the problem of loss of magnitude with filters fundamentally.

* AO-7, a sintilation canceler should be changed into AO-8, so that I could enchance the guiding area to give it a funcion of the complete guiding system as well. (AO-7 used to have a rellatively small guiding area, and sometimes correction movement by motors was needed.)

* Innivate short focus telescope for comets and nebulars, with digital SLR camera, and build an autoguide system.

(2) In the Mobile observation system, a priority matter is to beable to set up and close down easily and fast. Takahashi EM-200 should be innovated for this purpose.

3. Observatory at Home

---> "Without obsavatory house, Pillar fixed with Rain protection cover" style.

+++ Takahashi NJP (Skysensor 2000PC version) + Pillar + Celestron C11
The pillar is fixed where the previous observatory used to be. An operation desk with relative equipments being fixed is to be carried by side from the house everytime, and wires are simply and quickly connected. AC power with is available at outside wall of the house near by.

+++ Alminium case with all imaging equipments (Commonly used with mobile observation)

For Galaxy: SBIG ST-2000MXi{AO-8{MOAG Off axis guider + SBIG Remote head CCD + CFW-8 (Will be grade up to CFW-10 in future)
For Nebular, Cluster & Comet: CANON EOS Kiss Digital X
For Planet: PHILPS ToUcam (IR Filter build in / by Koheisha) + Eyepiece enlargement instrument + Flip mirror
For movie imaging: SONY Digital Video DCR-PC110

+++ This is normal status. You see this is the "Without obsavatory house, Pillar fixed with Rain protection cover" style.

4. Expediton system

+++ Takahashi EM-200. Seihosha's Skysensor2000PC version.

+++ Weights for Takahashi EM-200

+++ Metal tripod for Takahashi EM-200. (Very small, very strong and very easy to set up!)

+++ Lite Schmidt camera, JSO LS-12D for Comet and Nebular imaging. (With homebrew hood)

+++ Celestron Schmidt Cassegrain C9 1/4 for Galaxy and Planet imaging.

+++ Deep cycle battery, Delco (115Ah)

+++ Three stage container to make observation easy and quick

* Relative equipments ,parts and tools for obsevation are stored.

* In the first container, Skysensor controller with many cables for EM200, heater, and imaging equipments are coiled like snake. All the cables go down to the second container through a hole of the bottom of the first container.

* In the second container, AC inverter, power supplies, relay boxes, USB interfaces, USB hubs (7 circuits) and others are stored and they all are properly connected to the related cables came down from the upstair container. In the bottom container, eyepeices and other parts and tools are stored.

+++ Large enough table after extention, and comfortable chair.

+++ All the expedition set.

+++ View of LS-12D being mounted to EM-200.
Guiding scope: Vixen 70S (70mm/f350mm/F5)
Guiding CCD: Meade DSI Camera
Guiding Software: PHD Guiding + USB Relay box interface

+++ View of Celestron Shcmidt Cassegrain C9 1/4 being mounted to EM-200.

Oh! This is what I need! Cheap and Excellent! (From May, 2008 Kokusai-Koki in Kyoto-city started to handle this)

This would fit to narrow space, would not bother me with a rotation of the dome due to a small and narrow slit!
This could be the last thing to complete the "MAFNET Observatory No.2 at home"! SKY SHED POD is likely to be the next investment.
